  • Cabinet changes are widely expected under Sultan Haitham, with those ministries holding key reform priorities likely to be targeted first. These include the finance ministry, the ministry of commerce and industry, and potentially the ministry of manpower, tasked with the Omanisation policy. Mohammed al-Rumhy, still considered the key decision-maker in energy, is expected to remain as oil and gas minister for the time being.
